Cafe-bar “Derzhavniy” (Russian for ‘sovereign’) is conveniently located in the heart of ancient Novgorod. “Derzhavniy” invites you and your guests to enjoy traditional Russian cuisine in the unique and distinctive atmosphere which it provides. Reminiscent of a XVII century refectory, the venue offers an exemplary comfort and warmth which encourages leisurely conversation among friends.
The main hall reflects the history of life of Novgorod in the XVII–XVIII centuries: royal coats of arms, old weapons, depictions of significant historical events adorning the walls and ceiling.
